Yo, we need a new location for WMC, lets stay positive, Iam not hating, but I feel the same way as Benji. For the first time since 1999 I did not attend...I must say I had my best time in 2007 with no gigs, just friends, rum drinks early morning beach rendevouzs and random run in at after party breakfeasts. I look forward to Amsterdam 2009. Iam curious to see what other people's thoughts on this are. Here's Benji's comments taken from Traxsource this afternoon:

Best Party: Shelbourne pool party Feat Denis Ferrer, Locco Dice and Luciano
Biggest Tune: Not one record supported by one group. WMC is no longer the place to break a record. Too many DJ's playing different tunes... not one record being played among a few.
Favourite Set: Last Two Hours of Timmy Regisford , And the opening set of DJ ARGY (GERMANY) at the objectivity party
What did you think of the conference?: WMC conference is done from my experience. Its become another Vegas with too many Spring Breakers just running around being silly. We need a venue where we can again support each other's music and try to find ways to make this things of ours last. Away with the glam and the table service. Its about the music and the people that love it.... No posers allowed!!! F@#K Bottle Service!!! Lets get sweaty and dance!!!
Funniest thing you saw? Some fashionista fool in a rented Lamborghini Diablo making a u turn on Collins Ave and like 9th getting stuck at a angle not being able to get the car back in gear. Stopping traffic on both sides for blocks, while spectators applauded taunted him as he grinded the gears down to nothing.... :)
